Fielding House

Fielding House was built in the early 1970s on Kilburn Park Road alongside its twin, Bronte House.

In 1976-77 I was driving the 31 bus right past 16 times a day and don’t recall ever seeing these twin towers.

Now, I drive my love to work along the same road and suddenly ‘saw’ Fielding House in its crippled state. I became fascinated by the slowly-revealed insight into others’ lives. Over the four or five weeks of the demolition, I met some of those who had links to the building.
